The Music Technology Area is concerned with audio and musical applications of computers. At the undergraduate level, there is a focus on programming of advanced music technologies (software and, to a lesser extent, hardware). Training includes courses in Sound Synthesis, Effects, Digital Signal Processing, Computer Science, Psychoacoustics, and Acoustics.
